The legendary Kubota.
Guess where it comes from!
Discover our cutting-edge Japanese technology.
Did you know?… The unparalleled quality of Japanese swords is the result of many generations of swordsmiths striving to achieve perfection. A unique kind of steel is used to make the highest quality katanas, and this forging process takes many months. A good sword should be strong, resilient, easy to sharpen, and have excellent cutting properties. To meet these requirements, Japanese swordsmiths used an innovative method to optimise the cutting edge of the sword and ensure that is was different to the rest of the blade.
Similarly, the most advanced production technologies have been applied to Kubota’s machine factories. The result is the combination of the research and experience offered by many generations of Japanese engineers, which is what makes Kubota’s machines stand out from their competitors.
This is also a key factor in the unparalleled longevity of Kubota’s machine components, including transmissions. From their hydrostatic transmission and unique HST Plus, to their mechanical transmissions and advanced Powershift or stepless CVTs - each element is based on a unique technology that guarantees unrivalled quality and performance.

Discover exceptional Japanese precision.
Did you know?… Japanese calligraphy (“shodo” in Japanese) literally means „the principle of writing”? It is the art of handwriting with ink, in which the stroke order is extremely important and predetermined. The handling of the brush and its angle of inclination are also of great importance. For this reason, calligraphy is considered a form of meditation. Brush strokes must be done very carefully, in a fully conscious and controlled manner.
The steering precision of the Kubota machines has always been a priority for our Japanese engineers. The results of their research on the turning radius become evident in the outstanding manoeuvrability of our machinery. This is possible thanks to the bevel gear in the front axle, combined with the unique Bi-Speed technology, i.e. a system for enabling short and agile turns. This solution guarantees that our Japanese compact and agricultural tractors offer the best manoeuvrability in their class and that users can enjoy trouble-free operations for many years.

LX Series with Bi-Speed Turn system for maximum manoeuvrability in the urban jungle
Bi-Speed Turn – a unique Kubota system which establishes a new benchmark in tractor manoeuvrability, allowing the front wheels’ revolution to accelerate after exceeding 35° in their steering angle, resulting in much smoother and tighter cornering
Front axle with bevel gears drive – drive system in an encapsulated oil bath to ensure less maintenance and long-lasting components
Front axle with portal layout – guaranteeing unrivalled ground clearance for a wide range of applications
Japanese tradition
that drives progress.
Did you know?… Japanese knives obtained their world-famous cutting properties from the swordsmiths’ expertise in making katana swords over several centuries. These knives are often manufactured using very traditional methods borrowed from the ancient process of forging swords by hand. Today, the Japanese knives that are crafted by the greatest blacksmith masters constitute small works of art, because of their blades and unique handle.
The comfort offered by Japanese knives is confirmed by master chefs, while the ease of driving provided by Kubota machines is confirmed by all their users. Low vibration levels, an unobstructed view and comfortable operation are advantages that cannot be overlooked. What is important here is the well-thought-out and simple system of operating Kubota machines, which makes every operator - regardless of experience - feel safe and secure, and allowing the utilisation of the machine’s full potential.

Quality means longevity. Guess who does that in the best possible way.
Did you know?… Bonsai, the art of growing miniature trees and shrubs, comes from the Japanese words „bon”, meaning a flat tray or container, and „sai”, which means plant. Achieving the perfect bonsai form is the result of many years of meticulous work and the experience of several generations of gardeners. Bonsai from long-living trees such as oaks and pines are the most precious. There are many styles in bonsai art, depending on how the tree is shaped. The process of shaping the tree is a difficult and laborious task, which requires special tools.
Longevity under the supervision of specialists
A crucial factor that ensures the longevity of Kubota’s machines is the company’s stable and extensive dealer network. Kubota machinery users will be particularly interested in two elements. First, the Kubota Insight Program, whereby Japanese engineers check the machines’ condition after several years of operation. And second, Kubota Care, i.e. an extended 5-year warranty, which covers an exceptionally wide range of components.

Innovation and R&D Centres in Europe
Systematically shaping a bonsai tree is similar to adapting agricultural machines to farmers’ requirements. Europe is a special market for Kubota. For this reason, Kubota has established a European R&D centre in the French town of Crépy-en-Valois, where the conducted research meets the challenges of the future and ensures that the machines developed in Japan meet the high expectations of European customers.
Power meets reliability. All the way from Japan.
Did you know?… Karate is a martial art invented in the 17th century by the inhabitants of the island of Okinawa, and its main purpose was self-defence. The word „karate” means empty, i.e. without weapons, by hand. Nowadays, practising karate is extremely popular all over the world, with more than 100 karate styles developed to this day. As a martial art, karate is not only supposed to improve the strength and fitness of the body, but, first and foremost, to shape an appropriate psychological resistance and moral attitude. Karate is the symbol of a never-ending quest for perfection.
The constant pursuit of perfection is what drives our Japanese engineers and contributes to Kubota being the market leader in industrial diesel engines up to 100 HP. Exceptional performance and high work culture are the first things that come to mind when we think about what makes Kubota drivetrains truly stand out.
